How we work
Quality control
Our work complies with the ISO 9002 standards, which permits a complete control and monitoring of each file and a strict selection of the translator and proofreader involved in each job according to the evolution and diagnosis made by the project manager.
Quality control measures
Quality Control Steps:
1
Spelling and grammar checks.
2
Checking of figures and verifying any missing chapters or paragraphs.
3
Technical crosschecks with specialist consultants.
4
Revision in the strict sense of the word (meaning, appropriate register).
5
Revision of the various sections and any vocabulary that may present a specific problem.
6
Insertion of corrections.
7
Final check carried out by proofreaders.
8
Updating of databases, compilation of translation memories (Trados, Multiterm, Dejà Vu, etc.)‚ and the inclusion of results from terminological searches carried out by translators and proofreaders.
9
Send this information back to the translator.
10
If required, updating of the translator’s database. If the translator has not carried out the work satisfactorily, his/her record will be permanently deleted from the database. If, on the other hand, the translator has done a good job the database will be completed to include comments such as the subject translated and the name of the client in order to use this translator again for work of a similar nature.
