Human resources
Our collaborators are translators and specialists in multilingual localisation for Computer programmes and web pages. We use professionals who translate exclusively into their mother tongue and who have a common aim: the satisfaction of a job well done.
When selecting and including translators in our database we not only assess their abilities as translators but also look for an attention to detail and personal attitude, thus enabling us to supply you with competent translators who provide added value to your products.
Translators
We select our translators on the basis of various criteria such as higher university studies, a perfect knowledge of their mother tongue, in-depth knowledge of the source language and an optimal understanding of the subject being translated (with a minimum of five years professional experience). Before including a candidate translator into our database they must take a translation test, resulting in an assessment rating of 1 to 5.
Proofreaders and terminology experts
The criteria for selecting proofreaders are identical to those used for translators. In general, these people are tried and tested translators with at least six years’ experience. In some cases‚ we use experts – not translators – in specific areas of translation for subjects such as nuclear physics‚ medicine and pharmaceutics, which require a highly specialized vocabulary. If this is not possible, the work is carried out in collaboration with a linguist.
Project Director
To coordinate and manage each job, a Project Manager is appointed with the task of encoding and registering the Order and selecting one or more translators/proofreaders from our internal management system, according to the criteria described above.
